Dr. Tomeka Roberts has proudly served Birmingham with excellent medical care since 2003. Her educational career began at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering. While attending UAB, she was a Golden Girl and an assistant coach/choreographer. Dr. Roberts attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, before completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and is board certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Roberts enjoys providing education to both women and girls about making healthy decisions for their bodies. In 2014, Dr. Roberts developed a nonprofit called "Not On Our Watch" (NOOW). NOOW was designed to provide an avenue to educate young women, between the ages of 10 – 17 years, on establishing healthy behaviors with their bodies in a fun and safe environment.

She and her husband, Edmond, are natives of Birmingham. They enjoy spending time with their children and attending the Church of the Highlands. Her interests are piano and traveling.
