A pediatric dietitian and nutrition innovation expert, Marissa Epstein is the director of The University of Texas Nutrition Institute. Her work focuses on bringing consumers healthy eating solutions in everyday life by catalyzing innovation with evidence-based nutrition science. She teaches courses in nutritional science and entrepreneurship.

Previously, Marissa served as The White House Let's Move! associate director, driving Michelle Obama's national nutrition initiatives. She was also the administrative director of Health Education Engagement and Promotion at Stanford's Health Care and taught courses in nutrition innovation at Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
