Dr. Karen Olness is a pediatrician who began teaching hypnosis to children in 1968. With Dr. Daniel Kohen, she has written a textbook, Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy with Children, now in its fourth edition. She has done controlled studies, examining the ability of children to apply hypnosis in reduction of migraines, control of immunologic responses and control of autonomic responses and has more than 150 publications.
