Dr. Jana Richardson is the founder of Chicago Pelvic Health and Wellness (CPHW), a specialized pelvic floor physical therapy clinic in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. She earned her doctorate of physical therapy from Franklin Pierce University and holds multiple certifications, including being a board-certified women's health specialist (WCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association, a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner (PRPC) through the Herman and Wallace Institute, and having a certification in integrative dry needling (CIDN).
Dr. Richardson’s expertise spans a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including bowel and bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual health challenges, prenatal and postnatal care, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and men’s pelvic health. She is deeply passionate about raising awareness of the complex and often misunderstood pelvic health issues that affect women of all ages.
Pelvic floor concerns can be deeply personal and distressing, but Dr. Richardson is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where patients can share their stories without judgment. Her approach emphasizes understanding how the pelvic floor connects to the rest of the body and lifestyle, forming the foundation for effective and lasting relief.
Outside of the pelvic health world, you can find Dr. Richardson trying new restaurants with her husband, spending time with her three dogs, and crafting or gardening.
