Walk to Beat the Clock for HPV/Cervical Cancer Prevention and Awareness
The inaugural NYC Walk To Beat The Clock which will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 in New York City, is one way we are making women aware of this fact. The walk will raise awareness about cervical health and the tools that women have which can prevent this disease: pap tests, HPV testing, and HPV vaccines. The thousands raised will be re-invested in the community Tamika and Friends, Inc. serves.
Participants can register online for the event at www.tamikaandfriends.org, and are encouraged to recruit others to participate.
How Trying on Jeans Can Help Fight Breast Cancer
